If anyone is looking for a place to relax and have best time, you should book Veranda Resorts, Huahin. The restaurant "Isea" is just facing the beach. The swimming pool is amazing, facing the beach , not big, not small, just perfect for family with younger kids or older kids. Private beach with massage parlour infront of the hotel. Amazing breakfast buffet, variety of choices. The Room 219 is the best sea view room. We took 3 rooms. All exceptional. My daughter has dietery restrictions, gluten free. The chef was amazing, flexible in providing meals gluten free and the breakfast manager even took care of gluten free breakfast for my daughter. The ISea Beach restaurant chef even arranged food for us as per our like which was not even on the menu. Amazing experience. Clean, hospitable , peaceful relaxing. A hidden gem!

Veranda is just perfect in every way. Best pool, fabulous breakfast, very nice private beach. The rooms are super spacious with updated, modern amenities. However, the isea restaurant menu is very limited and there are no other restaurants on the facility. Front desk staff, although very pleasant and cheerful, have some English communication difficulties, especially, when I tried to ask for the birthday cake to be delivered to the room. Veranda at sea room type is misleading as in reality it is not a "family suit" but rather just 2 adjoining rooms, which was disappointing given the rather steep price tag. Overall, a good choice when choosing hotels in this area.

Veranda is a very good hotel. The landscape is beautiful, the pool is great, the rooms are very big and comfortable and the amenities are tasteful. Breakfast is of a wide variety. The outdoor Thai food station tends to get very smokey from time to time causing my elderly family members to choke. The welcome drink is absolutely one af a kind—super delicious. One negative comment would be that although the hotel is aware that this and this room will be occupied by non-Thai guests on this date, all the TVs in the 3 rooms that we had booked were in Thai and so on the first day we could not watch anything. Such oversights are small, yes, but it make a big difference. Moreover the available channels are not shown on a TV channel guide as in most other hotels. But overall, still the best choice of hotels in Cha-Am district.

Wir hatten „Premium Deluxe Plunge Bath with Garden View“ Zimmer gebucht. Die Garden View zeigen die Bilder… Dass die Zimmer außerhalb des Hotelgeländes in einem alten Gebäude auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite liegen, war in der Zimmerbeschreibung nirgends erwähnt. Mit Mobilitätseinschränkung keine Option! Das einzig alternative Zimmer auf dem Hotelgelände (dessen Harten auch als die Garden View im Zimmerangebot gezeigt war!), das uns angeboten wurde war ein Downgrade auf ein Standardzimmer. In den 4 von 8 Nächten, die wir dort ausharren mussten, ist das versprochene Zusatzbett nie aufgetaucht. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war so schimmelig, dass sie nicht benutzt werden konnte und sich unser Gesundheitszustand im Zimmer sofort verschlechtert hat. Nach 4 Nächten hatte endlich ein anderes Hotel am Ort ein Zimmer frei. Sonstiges zum Hotel: Der Pool war sandig, schmutzig und wurde offenbar während unseres Aufenthalts nie gereinigt. Am Strand und Pool gab es viel zu wenig Liegen, so dass Strand & Pool de facto nicht nutzbar waren. An 2 der 4 Tage dort war der Strand zudem wegen Veranstaltungen gesperrt. Der Kaffee beim Frühstück ist grauenhaft. Man kann gegen ca. 4 EUR im Poolrestaurant trinkbaren bekommen. Die Kaffeebar haben wir nicht getestet, da sie dunkel und drinnen ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist lecker und mit reichhaltiger Auswahl für jede Vorliebe und wird auch zum Ende der Frühstückszeit komplett frisch aufgefüllt. Man findet immer einen Tisch, der ggf. zügig abgeräumt und eingedeckt wird. Der Mini-Club ist für wirklich sehr kleine Kinder. Die Wasserrutschen sehen auf den Fotos nach richtig Spaß aus, sind aber in Wirklichkeit für Kleinkinder. Für die gibt es zwar einen flachen sandigen Pooleinstieg, aber keinen sicheren flachen Pool. Es gibt im Hotel (im Gegensatz zu den Nachbarhotels) unendlich viele Stechmücken. Die Gartenanlage ist wirklich ein wunderschöner tropischer Garten mit Koi-Teich und Brunnenanlage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und - bis auf den Refund, siehe unten - hilfsbereit. Den Refund für Downgrade und die 4 verbleibenden Nächte werden wir uns wohl bei Agoda einklagen müssen, da sich der „Customer Service“ bis dato weigert, die Differenz zu erstatten. Das Hotel hat uns vor Ort nur ca. 1/3 der Downgrade-Differenz angeboten und den Refund der 4 Nächte komplett verweigert.
