    This hotel has an amazing location, only a few minutes walk to the city centre with all the shops and restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was good, but they didn’t change up the food at all for all 4 days I was there. The staff was excellent, we requested two beds but they didn’t have a room with two beds so they went and added an extra single rollaway bed for us. Extremely grateful for that and I definitely recommend this hotel on your next trip to Ponta Delgada!

    The hotel is not bad, but some basic things were simply not okay for a four-star property. Most importantly: the pillows were terribly flimsy — all four of them! How can anyone think it’s acceptable to provide such flat, unsupportive pillows in a supposed four-star hotel? The walls are paper-thin. We could clearly hear the people and the cleaners in the next room. The room was very hot and it wasn’t possible to adjust the temperature properly. Opening the window to cool it down meant we had to listen to all the street noise, so the room wasn’t nearly as quiet as we had hoped. The breakfast was good. Not a huge selection, but the quality was nice. That said, the breakfast experience would have been much better without having to listen to American college rock at seven in the morning. Please fix some basics and we might stay again.

    Located along a small street (don't rent a big car if you plan to stay in this city), with street parking. The lobby is the the most impressively decorated. The room is decent but nothing fantastic. Bathroom was a little dated.
