Urban Apart - Azores

Excellent experience. It is a bit off the beaten path when you first arrive, but it is conveniently located, quiet at night and the room is exactly what I needed. The bathroom was spacious and had everything I needed, it had a great kitchen area, and plenty of space. The staff were exceptional. I embarrassingly locked myself out of the room late one night and they replied promptly via WhatsApp to mediate the situation. On my last day, they let me store my bags and even helped me with a taxi. If you are here for a short stay or alone and want a simple, well furnished and located place without all the frills of a fancy hotel- I highly recommend!

The location is good, close to the center, there is a parking lot near by. There is a small coffee machine in the hallway, tea and coffee capsules are provided. The AC worked perfectly.

The shower had a glass wall that did not fully enclose the shower area, so a lot of water leaked onto the bathroom floor while showering. The soundproofing was also poor—you could hear the neighbors going up and down the stairs, as well as people walking around in the apartment above. There was no staff at the reception. This was mentioned in advance, but the hosts were not very responsive via Booking.com chat or WhatsApp.

Everything was good, the place, the lady at the reception, etc. It did meet our expectations.

The location was great!

The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The toilet wasn’t clean. We expressed that we were being woken up by the upstairs guests at night and in the morning and they ignored our message.
