    Deluxe room with balcony offered a good view of the canals. Rooms was clean, bed was super comfy, and the staff were very helpful. Hints / information on key sites and tour guides & maps. We were really pleased with the location which was a tram ride from the central train station. No hesitation in recommending The Clayton American for a short stay in Amsterdam

    I have stayed in this hotels for more than 3 times, but this time was the worst, the house keeping doesn't clean the room as they suppose, several times I asked for changing the bedsheets because my son wet the bed, they see the pee and they just fix it they don't change it, plus in my stays before they offered an extra bed for free, this time I'm staying in a suite and they asked for extra charge, even when I asked for late check out they asked for extra charge, the times before they did it for me for free. All the staff is changed. The AC is not that cold so I asked for a fan and thank for them they brought me a fan. I don't think I will be staying in the hotel for my upcoming visits to Amsterdam .
