    I’m genuinely sorry to leave a negative review because R&F has always been my go-to place whenever I travel to Johor Bahru. I’ve stayed here countless times without major issues, which is why this recent experience was especially disappointing. The first issue was with the check-in process. The contact number provided on the booking app was not valid. By 3:30 PM on the day of check-in, I still hadn’t received any check-in instructions, so I had to contact Agoda for assistance. Agoda then had to reach out to customer service to obtain the correct contact details. By the time I finally received the updated number and managed to get in touch, it was already past my 4:00 PM check-in time, leaving me stranded in JB. What disappointed me even more was the response from NEO. I was told that the original WhatsApp number was down and that they were simply waiting for customers to contact them through another number. If the contact number was known to be unavailable, guests should have been informed in advance or provided with an alternative contact. Waiting for customers to discover the issue themselves is not acceptable. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. The overall condition of the three-bedroom apartment fell well below expectations. The toilet floors were slimy and didn’t feel properly cleaned, the water pressure on the 28th floor was extremely poor, and one of the bedrooms had cracked flooring. As someone who has chosen R&F repeatedly over the years, this was by far one of my worst experiences. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the communication process and the standard of maintenance and housekeeping, because this stay did not reflect the quality I have come to expect from R&F.
