    My stay at Hotel Ban Loong was quite disappointing. There was no Wi-Fi connection during our stay. The family room was also very small, with barely enough space for two pieces of hand-carry luggage. When we checked in, the windows had been left open, which resulted in a lot of mosquitoes inside the room. We also encountered what appeared to be bed bugs, which was very concerning. The room was not well insulated from outside noise, and you can hear the nearby mosque's calls to prayer several times throughout the day. Light sleepers may want to take this into consideration. There were also no proper curtains to block out the sunlight. The room became extremely bright early in the morning, and the sunlight was shining directly at us while we were sleeping, so we were basically forced to wake up around 6 a.m. Housekeeping was another disappointment. The room was not properly serviced during our stay, and basic necessities such as toilet paper were not replenished. Overall, the room was small, uncomfortable, and lacked several basic amenities and services that we expected from a hotel stay.

    A hotel that is located at a strategic place at the Ipoh Old Town. Really friendly and helpful staff. Really recommended.

    Our stay here was amazing. I love how the hotel looked old but still had modern elements to it, was easy to get a grab and was very near to other attractions. Very good!

    There is no lift. Bad if you find it difficult to climb up the steps to the first floor. At night the room is in total darkness. You need to find your way from your bed in total darkness to the light switches near the entry door. I tried leaving the bathroom light but the light from the bathroom shines directly to the bed. There is no stand to put your bags. You need to leave your bags on the floor to get to your stuff. Very poor design.
