    WOW! We walked into the most beautiful, calming and amazing place to stay in Galle Fort. We were absolutely blown away by staying here. We loved the service, food, breakfast and the gorgeous surroundings and mindfulness music. The attention to detail at breakfast, turn down service and service was fantastic. A lovely walk in shower and 5 poster bed. We felt like it was our home. I am a wheelchair user and pleased that my bedroom was great for my wheelchair. A perfect place to end our 5 months of travelling.

    We embarked on a delightful train journey from Colombo to Galle, immersing ourselves in the scenic beauty of the coastal landscape as the train gently rolled along the tracks. Upon our arrival at Villa Seven Pillars, nestled in the vibrant heart of Galle, we were warmly welcomed by Imalka, our dedicated butler for the duration of our three-night stay. The villa itself was a stunning example of Dutch colonial architecture, its charming façade complemented by lush tropical gardens that offered a serene escape from the bustling town outside. Inside, the decor was exquisite, featuring an array of carefully curated Sri Lankan artefacts that told rich stories of the island’s history and culture. Our room was nothing short of enchanting, adorned with a majestic four-poster bed, air conditioning for comfort, and a plush private bathroom that made us feel at home. Despite the villa housing three beautifully appointed rooms, we had the delightful fortune of being the only guests during our stay, allowing us to fully indulge in the peaceful ambience that enveloped the property. Each morning was a culinary delight, and breakfast became the highlight of our day. The table was elegantly set in the villa's picturesque gardens, complete with silver service that made every meal feel like a royal affair. We savoured eggs prepared to our specific preferences, accompanied by freshly brewed coffee and tea, alongside an array of amazing home-baked breads and homemade preserves that were simply irresistible. The villa's prime location in the centre of Galle made it incredibly convenient for us to explore all the local attractions on foot. Whether wandering through charming streets lined with shops and cafes or visiting historical sites, everything was just a stroll away. With Imalka at our disposal, ready to assist with any requests or recommendations, we truly felt pampered and cared for, enhancing our overall experience. In summary, our stay at Villa Seven Pillars was an extraordinary retreat—a perfect blend of luxury, tranquillity, and charm in the bustling town of Galle. We wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting villa to anyone seeking a serene getaway where comfort meets cultural richness.
