We loved our stay here. Comfy beds and great location for exploring the fort with our family of five. The view was amazing. To cool down we swam with the locals at the little beach next to the lighthouse. The area has lots of great restaurants and cafes. We really loved breakfast at the Dutch cafe. We only stayed one night before flying home but could easily have stayed 3.
Not surprisingly it was noisy at night as the location is very popular. There is no porter so you will need to carry your own bags up one flight of stairs.

Location was amazing! This was a beautiful old house and is in the best area in all of Galle fort. AC was great and it came with bottled water and towels.
No light in the bathroom, hot shower wasn’t really working

What we liked most was sitting on the terrace in the evening, with a direct view of the lighthouse.
The owners are very accommodating and the accommodation is spacious.

Location is the best and has access to some amazing places within walking distance
Did not feel homely or welcome at all. The mosque sounds started early morning walking most of us up at 4am
