    Enjoyed our stay here. Location could have been closer to the main area in Kyoto however was close to subway stations so easy enough to get around. Staff weren’t the most friendly but also weren’t rude or anything. Just not as friendly as other places in Japan.

    We stayed as a family of 3. My senior parents and I find this hotel convenient. 8-10 minute walk to the station in front of Nijo. They have toiletries in the lobby as well as the microwave. Only con I have is we had trouble entering the hotel! HAHA. It was our first time with a door that had a password and the front desk was not bothering helping us as we arrived at 10pm straight from Kansai Airport. Plus we did not know the password at all! Anyway if you're used to this kind of hotel, that's good but for first time traveler, the keypad was beside the door. Ask for the entry password before arriving.

    Waste of money. Rooms are small. Charged 1000 yen for just 10 min delay in checkout. That is terrible.
