It’s clean, comfortable and great location but still away from the noise of traffic. The hosts responded to my questions quickly and felt as if nothing was too much trouble. Sita is wonderful, so welcoming and breakfast was not only delicious but kept you going until dinner. However, the highlight for me was the dog, so friendly! Which sums up my experience.

This location is a dream, right in the heart of the city, yet pleasantly quiet.
The house and its interior are incredibly beautifully designed, without being cluttered. And don’t miss the breakfast next morning, Sita is really the best!

The communication with the owner who responded thoroughly, even though he was in Australia.
The live-in manager Sita who will do anything for you. Not to mention her excellent cooking.
The fixtures and fittings as well as the artwork made the place feel really high end.
The mad dog that howled when the gate bell was rung.
The ceiling fan was the quietest in Sri lanka
The information booklets and maps illustrating the care that the owners go to to provide for their guests
The pick up that was arranged at the airport
For some reason our room wasn't cleaned on day 2??
A bedside cabinet/ table for book and other items would help.. Sita provided when asked

Breakfast was good,Room was reasonably clean. The House Keeper was good, courteous, and helpful to the best of her ability.
Toilet needs more attention & cleaning, Also had no Hot Water for the 4 days I stayed due to a problem with the Hot Water System.
