    A simple hotel with the basic amenities that you need. Onsen was small but good enough. Rooms were spacious and clean.

    Please note: the hotel breakfast last order time differs from what is stated in the hotel's advertisements and signage. Also, the frontline staff and the manager had a poor attitude.

    Overall, mid hotel. Parking is terrible, which, you have to drive all over this tiny island, why is parking an issue? Build it into the hotel! Parking garages below the hotel isn't a novel concept. But I get sass from staff because I parked in front of the hotel, as one does, to check in. They're upset my car is in the way but where tf else am I supposed to put the car? All the other spots across from the hotel are taken. Hell, a guy parked in the literal road to check in! He didn't get sass. So I move for a sec and come back to ask where to park. Dude had given me a piece of paper but it didn't tell me where this additional lot is. Throw in trying to add a person to my reservation, which was another struggle. I'm working on my Japanese, but come on. I asked to add my friend to my reservation and couldn't have a conversation with the front desk attendant. I would have gladly added my friend via the kiosk, but wasn't given the option. The room was big and had a nice nook, which was nice to have to sit and chat with my friend. However, smelled like straight cigarettes. Hilarious it says "no smoking" but there was an ash tray in the room. Breakfast was fine. Nothing to write home about. The little lady running breakfast was nice so that made up for some of the other staff. Based on location to the port, it was fine for that reason and finding food in walking distance. Aside from that? Meh. May look for another hotel if I go back up for dragon boat next yr.
