    The location is very convenient, complemented by reliable Wi-Fi and easy transport options. Facilities are top-notch, featuring a lovely garden and consistent hot water, which made the stay comfortable.     I actually have no complaints for here. You got free breakfast, free to drink coffee, a Japanese home like place to stay, a common space that you got to talk with people, great location that you go anywhere with bus or train, cleanliness is good as well, and a cute dog sit in front of the hostel. Definitely will come back again visit if I going to visit kyoto next time

    Really nice stay. Staff were warm and friendly and very kind to our daughter, who enjoyed "helping out" with little tasks and playing with the adorable dog Jiro. Delicious breakfast.

    I really enjoyed staying in this traditional Japanese-style guesthouse. The young male staff member was especially friendly and helpful, and I loved the warm, family-like atmosphere there. The breakfast was excellent, which is why I always looked forward to coming back after my early morning explorations. One thing to note is that not many restaurants in the area stay open late. It’s a good idea to have dinner before heading back or be prepared to take a short walk to find food. That said, the dining places recommended by the hosts were very good.
