    We had a great stay at MyStays Higashi Ikebukuro. It’s accessible to the train station, supermarkets, konbini, local dining areas and it has a peaceful environment. Hotel facilities and amenities are great also- Our room is bright, has a microwave and room size is perfect for couples traveling. We’re able to do our laundry at the 2F conveniently.

    The staff are incredibly sweet, helpful and polite. The location is wonderful, right across from 7-Eleven and a close walk to the major train stations. They have a little amenity drawer where you can help yourself to coffee, tea, toner, body towel scrubber, razor etc. Small and simple, very straightforward. Neighborhood feels very safe, and the room has the basics you need.. air con, clock, tissue, phone, outlets, blackout curtains, desk and chair, towels, hot water kettle, microwave, tv, mini bar etc. Staff was gracious to also keep luggage the day I checked out, so I could attend a meeting and then return in the afternoon for it. They are very thorough on email communication and polite. Would recommend!

    honestly, if your the type to go out and explore japan the entire day, this is a perfect hotel to book. has all the essentials you need.

    The hotel is located a little distance from the train station, with a walking time of around 10–15 minutes depending on your pace. However, the route is pleasant, with nice scenery and convenience stores along the way, so it is not really an issue if you are not in a hurry. The room is similar in size to most Japanese hotel rooms, small but well equipped with everything you need. The staff were also friendly and helpful. During our trip, we flew to another destination for a few days and then returned to stay at the hotel again. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage while we were away, so we did not have to carry everything with us. This was definitely a big plus for us.
