    The reception staff of the Prince Hotel is kind and thoughtful. However as a family of five with older children, I feel we were not taken care of as guests by the Prince Hotel at Sunshine City. We were promised connecting rooms and I called the Prince Hotel before and made sure that we would have connecting rooms and even upgraded rooms to make sure of it. However when we arrived our rooms were not connected and located on the far opposite sides of the floor at least 10 rooms apart. I feel they would have accommodated us if they had rooms available, but because it was summer they were fully booked. I choose hotels based on their ability to handle a family of five and we booked 3 months in advance. We have lived abroad in Asia for 11 years and I do understand the issues that hotels in Asia have with large families. The location for this hotel is perfect for families with teenagers. The bathrooms in our somewhat dated rooms have a large step up to a kind of enclosed system bathroom that have a deep tub and special Japanese toilet, but feels very cheap. The breakfast was okay, but could be improved. I think the hotel’s location cannot be beat for Ikebukuro, Sunshine City, but we will not be returning and do not recommend this property.

    Great location, comfy rooms, amazing and helpful staff, value for money, airport limousine stop, baggage courier desk ....family mart in the hotel,....list is endless...i will keep going back to this hotel everytime i m in tokyo and i will strongly recommend this hotel

    Downstairs already is a big shopping mall with variety of shops. There’s a Lawson right on the lobby floor of the hotel, making it very convenient. Although need already 8 mins from the metro exit, the hotel provide shuttle to and from airport. You can choose the service when carrying suitcases. Staff are nice and helpful.

    There’s no facility in the hotel. No gym room, pool and the building is poorly maintained. They even do not have basic amenities like coffee, body lotion nor hand cream. Staffs barely understand English. I had a hard to communicate with them.
