The hotel’s location was excellent. It was only a 1-minute walk from Hakata Station and it made everything very convenient. I also appreciated the welcome drink and the snacks, especially the sake, soba and popcorn. However, I found a cockroach in my room, which was a serious drawback and affected my overall impression.

Great location next to Hakata station. Ideal for a night stopover before flying off the next morning. But the rooms are extremely small even for Japanese standards. So won't be advisable for stays more than 2 nites. Loads of food options and day trip travels due to the hotel's location.

Location is great! But the room is small and the request for cleaning the hotel room is confusing.

Pros: - Location. - Gym is decent. - Lots of selection at the breakfast buffet. Cons: - Cleanliness is an huge issue. Our group stayed here twice during a recent Kyushu trip, and both times at least one of the bathroom smells right after check-in. One of the rooms also smelled terrible. - Often understaffed at the front desk and took them a long time to help with any issues. - Room with double bed is tiny. - Unrelated to the hotel itself, but lots of guests were very loud in the common areas and hallways even late at night.
