It was very clean and comfortable

Thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay here. Staff were friendly, spoke good English and were able to store my luggage prior to check in. The staff helped me to check in using a multi-lingual machine. An in-house laundromat available which was a huge help; washing machines cost 300 yen, dryers cost 200 yen for 60 mins. Breakfast is available if you want to pay an extra 1500 yen per day. Great location as Hakata Station is a 2 min bus ride or 10 min walk, with two major shrines and convenience stores within a 5 min walk. My room came with a mirror, coat hangers, double bed, power points, a small desk and chair. Towels were replaced daily upon request; because I only stayed for three nights my room wasn't serviced, but I didn't mind this. Enjoyed being able to soak in the bath at the end of a long day of walking; being a Westerner these baths are smaller than what I'm used to, but it was still a nice addition given how sore my legs were by this point in my trip. Noise wasn't a problem at all; if anything, at times I thought my floor was mostly empty as I hardly saw anyone in the corridors or lifts. Would definitely stay here again!

There was a slight musty smell to the bathroom but this had no impact on my stay.

The location was good, close to transport.

The self check in. By the time staff helped people to do it on the machine they could have done it in a much more personal and friendly way without the machine. Room was clean but very small.

It was affordable and okay for one night.

Checking in took forever. Technology didn’t speed things up. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Until I called to find out if there was a way to warm up my room, it was freezing.
