    I will strongly recommend this property. It costs almost half of the five star hotels around without compromising any facility except the breakfast spread.

    I had high hopes for The LaLiT Jaipur, but this stay was one issue after another. The charging port next to the bed didn't work, and we had to call an electrician to look at it. The TV apparently needs two remotes - STB and TV - and the room only had one. We wasted time fumbling with just the set-top-box remote before someone was called to bring the missing TV remote from elsewhere. The shower had a leaking glass panel, leaving water all over the bathroom floor after every use. Blackout curtains were apparently there but sat uselessly behind flimsy sheer curtains, so the room was never properly dark - and there was no turndown service either. Internet was very poor throughout the stay. The chicken fried rice was inedible - the chicken had been fried, then refried, leaving it chewy, rubbery, and completely off-putting. Even the toiletry glasses were too short to stand a toothbrush in - a small thing, but it added to the overall lack of care. Access cards repeatedly failed to work on the extreme left lift. Separately, our room access card also stopped working, and the replacement card we were given didn't work either. We had specifically requested a quiet room on Agoda but were instead placed in Room 739, right next to the lift. It was the opposite of quiet - total fracas all night with a wedding happening at the hotel. To top it off, there was no hot water at all during our stay - a real problem when you're getting ready at 4:45 am to leave for a leopard safari. To be fair, the staff genuinely tried - there were a lot of helpless stares as they did their level best to resolve issues within their control. But for the price point, this level of maintenance and service is unacceptable. Won't be returning.
