Everybody at this hotel was incredibly kind and friendly. I checked in after being hospitalized for a fall at the train station. My family carried on with our planned itinerary without me and I stayed here for a week to recover. I have never felt so taken care of. They were compassionate and regularly asked if I needed anything. The hotel has a lot of thoughtful extras and the breakfast is excellent. It’s close to everything and it’s quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

We were given a room on the old side of the hotel, that was on 4th floor with a very old/2 person? elevator. It felt unsafe and you could not get your luggage in with 2 people. When I asked to be changed to a lower floor, I was told that they could not say until the next day. They never called me back. There was always something that we had to ask for - usually several times, You never knew if the person at (changed) Reception was going to be helpful or not. For what we paid, we did not feel a 77 and 74 year old should be expected to climb 4 flights of stairs, or, be extremely uncomfortable in the elevator.
