Trendy Canettes Hotel

It’s the spirit of Paris. Everything is near and clean. The bed is awesome. The staff is great. Out room was small but quiet. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. Basically inside Saint Sulpice church. Besides the small and discrete entry door in the street, this hotel has everything you need.

The pillows were too thick for my taste; there could be more facilities inside the room for ex. hangers for clothes.

I loved the location, the atmosphere, the attention to details. Very elegant and new. Breakfast time my favourite. Despite very small spaces, the bed was big and comfortable and the toilet new and clean!

Very limited spaces. Especially the room, there was no chance to open the suitcase properly. No proper sound isolation between rooms…

Trendy Cannettes is in a great location with fairly large rooms (for Paris). It was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was great - as good as anything that you can get in the area for half the price.

It was very loud Friday and Saturday night until the early hours of the morning at which point the early noises started. I’m a heavy sleeper and had earplugs so it didn’t bother me but my daughter had a problem sleeping.

Great location for the main tourist spots: Musee D'Orsay, Ile de la Cite, etc. And the staff is really helpful and great. The breakfast is a good way to start the day and reasonable, not extravagant nor miserly.

Sits above 2-3 bars with music until 6 am - need good ear plugs if you want to sleep. Rooms are tiny, you can barely move, and getting to the main desk is a flight of spiral stairs that is pain to navigate with big bags; if you don't mind these things then a great place. There is no place really to sit other than your bed or the breakfast tables at the check in. And small but practical issue: whoever put the toilet paper holder was not not thinking: everytime you sit it falls (too close to you knee, even for a small person) and it is so close to the wall and narrow in a tiny bathroom you are crunched. Small but annoying for 3 nights. I could have just stayed at a slightly larger hotel a little longer distance and used the Metro and get better value. People make the place, not the place.
