I booked a room through ***expecting double occupancy, but due to a system booking error, the voucher listed 1 guest. Upon arrival at Hotel Monte Ulia, the front desk informed me the room was only for one person.
I immediately offered on-site to pay the price difference to upgrade to a room for two, but the hotel had zero room availability. Because they physically could not accommodate two guests and had no alternative rooms, I was left stranded late at night and forced to book another hotel nearby at my own expense.
Despite being completely unable to provide lodging for us, the hotel management refused to approve even a partial cancellation waiver when requested by Agoda, keeping 100% of the non-refundable payment for a room we could not use. Extemely disappointed by the lack of empathy and rigid customer service. Proceed with caution when booking here.

We were a bit skeptical about the location at the beginning, but when we met the host, she was great. Breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean !!

The location is top. The room we stayed 205 needs painting and bathroom needs updating. It's a real shame.
