Location fantastic , view of Cathedral minutes from Concha beach and promenade. 15 minute walk to old town. Comfortable bed and small balcony . Fridge and microwave in room. Facilities good for a 2 star
Booking.com has these apartments as 4 star . Pension La Perla rates itself as 2 star . The room was very small and although it had everything required it was basic and workmanship and finishes poor. The bathroom particularly needs attention .

The location is outstanding; right in the middle of the old city, with tons of great food options all around.
The level of attention you receive when you first arrive could best be described as chaotic. You get the feeling that nobody is really in charge, and everyone is rushed and only half informed in the check-in procedure. There is very little English spoken, so dust off your Spanish or French. They were friendly, though. The facility itself is well worn and cramped. It's more of a hostel experience than a hotel. If you just need a place to lay your head while exploring this incredible city, it does the job.

The location was fantastic, so close to beaches and the old town. Bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom was tiny and the photos on website were taken some time ago as room was a little shabby.
