    The location of the Holiday Inn is excellent and made us feel both safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is directly connected to the S-Bahn station—simply take the escalator from the platform and walk through the underground passage for just 1–2 minutes to reach the hotel's lift entrance. It also has direct access to the S8 S-Bahn line, which offers a direct connection to Munich Airport, making it especially convenient for travelers. There is a great Thai restaurant right in front of the hotel and a supermarket next door, so finding food or buying daily necessities is effortless. Overall, the location is incredibly convenient and one of the hotel's biggest advantages. The hotel reception team was also very friendly and welcoming. They greeted us warmly upon arrival and made us feel at home from the very beginning.

    We stayed here for 6 nights and felt very comfortable. The staff were friendly and made the check-in process smooth. The room was nice and cozy and had amenities that we needed like towels, lost of hangars, separate duvets, a nice queen sized bed and enough space for a side table and armchair, a big table and bench for us to put all our shopping, etc. We really made ourselves at home! The location was also very good, we could get to Munich City Centre in under 20 minutes by train or tram, and there were a lot of food options and grocery stores around us. The stay was really value for money and I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Munich!

    I spoke to the manager prior to booking and asked about the room and if it had air conditioning as it was warm. I was told I couldn’t check in until 3 pm. That was all good even though I’d travelled all The way from Australia. I booked online and returned to check in at 3 pm. I was given my room key. When I went up it was 2 single beds . I returned to reception and spoke to a rude woman the duty manger. I said sorry I requested a large bed and why is it 2 singles . She said we are booked out now and sorry that’s all that’s available . I said what wasn’t I told this prior as I wouldn’t have checked in. I’d have chased a refund as I’m a 6ft 1 guy and this isn’t suitable. She was belligerent and said bad luck. I asked to speak to a manager and he was equally dismissive and said it’s not my fit you didn’t know what you booked. I said it would have been polite to let me know that this was the bedding status! I said please help me get a refund and I’ll go elsewhere His response was you can leave but you will loose 90 percent .. this was a 4 night booking!! He said we are booked out I spent an hour on the messaging platform with Agoda trying to get a refund and eventually Agoda spoke With the hotel and magically a double bed room was available I also Lodged a complaint with IHG bites about the staff who also seemed shocked that they would be dismissive rude and lied to me about no other rooms So I would not recommend this hotel at all . Managers lie and are not interested in customer service
