    Advertise services till 9pm but wind everything down and limit choices by 830 no room service but given food in takeaway boxes unfriendly at closing time but perhaps my fault because of late check in due to business commitments

    Everything was ok, aside from we dont know if that is there standard or its only for our booking, we dont know but this is our first time staying in a hotel (4star) but they dont have a complimentary water inside the room. We just stayed for 1 day and its not a really big deal for us. The receptionist named Mandy, was really helpful.

    On the plus side: **The design is very nice. Lots of wood and warm furnishings. **The staff are also very nice although the restaurant team seems quite new and inexperienced. On the down side: **Our room was not cheap by Canberra standards but showed signs of a lack of care - towel hangers were loose, and there were other minor details that needed attention. Not a big deal but I expect more from a $400 room. The room was also a bit cramped and overlooked a highway. **Our breakfast order got lost and it was only after I enquired that the staff realised - meaning that we waited more than 30mins . This was annoying because we were on a tight schedule and had paid extra for a breakfast deal - thinking that it would be faster than eating somewhere else. I have been promised a refund for the breakfast package but haven't received it yet. **After checking out we were charged for a minibar item that we didn't consume. Apparently an oversight and has since been refunded. **There is no EV charger in the building which is surprising for such a modern upmarket hotel.
