    I was disappointed at the low maintenance of the hotel with scuff marks on walls and stains. The decor was also not at all what you see in the photos. My room was very small and had dark maroon/brown walls. The neon coloured accents throughout the hotel makes it possible that the last renovation was in the 90s. The location is fantastic and renovations are underway - here’s hoping that these are sensitive to the period of the building allowing some timeless elegance.

    Peppers Gallery is currently undergoing renovations but even without a restaurant , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was located perfectly for us and only a short 10 minutes walk into the city

    It was lovely staying there . I go back 2 times and the room was nice eventhough it is a bit small but they also have a good space for bathroom and wardrobe with good housekeeping everyday.

    This hotel would be 5 stars if a couple of things were improved however for the price and bath - it is good and we have returned. Saturday night and on the street front wasn't great as we had horrible sounds from outside as their is a footpath that is by window. Midnight we woke up to yelling - rooms could be improved with a good clean and soundproofing. Otherwise good.
