    I stayed at Bounce during Melbourne's winter, and took a private room with the shared bathroom. I would highly recommend this place especially for travellers who do not drive. 1. Location: You will not find a better location in Melbourne's CBD unless you were living in Flinders Train station itself. It is well connected, the free tram service (as of June 2026) has a stop right outside Bounce. Commute to the International Airport is one train stop away from a 40 minute SkyBus station. 2. Pricing and Amenities: I have travelled most of Southeast Asia where hostels are all cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Bounce's bathrooms are clean, with warm water (invaluable in winter) and warm air conditioning. Hand and body soap is provided. A big shoutout to the housekeeping ladies who keep the place livable every day. 3. Room: You can hear sounds from the city and street on weekends from the private room on the third floor but by 10-11pm things are quieter. The room condition was clean, and the bed was soft and comfortable. I was able to fall asleep soundly, and am not a heavy or light sleeper. I will definitely be back at Bounce if life ever brings me back to Melbourne.

    I used the female only 6 bedroom, and it was so good! Shampoo and body wash was installed in the bathroom, and also it was really convenient cause the room was ensuite type. Also, if you are lucky, you can get a single bed not a bunk bed. It was a bit more expensive than other accomodation, but worth it!

    The location was just outside Flinders Station. Very convenient. They have a lift. I was staying at a 10-bed mix room. The room was big enough to let you open your luggage fully. Every beds have curtains for privacy and also has a cabinet on each bed. Beds were very comfy. Bathrooms were clean. The kitchen area was clean as well. I like that it’s not loud. Would definitely stay here again.

    Tried the bed in dorm before, and thought to give the double room a go. It was still tidy and clean. Great location.
