    Hubby and I stayed 2 nights for his birthday in a junior suite overlooking the water. First thing that impressed us was the customer service- exceptional! Cleanliness -amazing Room itself -a little tired and dated and could really do with some TLC but the views made up for it. The gym and pool area were fantastic Breakfast - we had included and loved it! This part of town is far more peaceful but still close enough to be in the midst of shops and eateries. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

    I chose this hotel because I thought it was a well-known and reliable brand especially since it was my first time staying in Cairns but honestly, the experience was pretty disappointing. The hotel feels quite old and not well maintained. The room wasn’t clean there was mould in the bathroom dust on the bedside table and even some blood stains on the bedsheets which was really uncomfortable to see It just didn’t feel like the level of cleanliness you’d expect. I do want to say the reception staff were very nice and professional. They were always friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. But one of the managers (with curly hair) didn’t seem consistent in how he treated guests, which made the service feel a bit off. Overall, the hotel doesn’t match the photos online, and the quality of the facilities and cleanliness is not what I expected. Sadly, it wasn’t a good experience for me.
