The hotel and its services fall far short of the expectations created by the photos online. Parking is in a very dirty, unattractive garage, Wi-Fi is extremely unreliable, and our power sockets repeatedly stopped working; repairs were only temporary. Breakfast is extremely basic — a few pastries, two types of fruit, toast, one type of ham and one cheese — served on dirty tablecloths, with drinks in poorly cleaned containers. Overall, the hotel looks nothing like the heavily edited, apparently AI-enhanced images online. Rusty safes and bins, dirty sockets, windows and generally worn-out facilities and building make it feel as though a basic renovation was already overdue ten years ago. The staff attitude was similarly disappointing. Requests to fix the Wi-Fi or sockets seemed to be treated as an inconvenience, and children who arrived just one minute after breakfast had ended were not even offered an apple.

Shower hard to regulate temperature

Location can't be beaten, so close to everything.

Previous guest's soap left in shower, hot water pipes very noisy not just in our room but surrounding us which was loud enough to wake us during the night. The shower was either diabolically hot or cold, which was not great. Breakfast was not worth it as it lacked fresh fruit (there were 3 pieces put out when we arrived, and none were very appealing), and the options were minimal. If you didn't get in early, the food wasn't replenished, so you'd miss out. Lastly, the doors had to be slammed shut as the locks were sticky, and so other guests returning or leaving their rooms resulted in loud banging.
