About this apartment rental
Marigold Apartment at Blue Iris House is just a half mile from Lake Pepin and all the charming attractions of downtown Lake City. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are tastefully decorated and relaxing after a long day celebrating a wedding, playing golf, exploring nearby wineries or enjoying a fun-filled day at the Lake City Marina and beach.
In addition to the calming bedrooms and living room, there's a full kitchen if you'd like to cook on site, including a full compliment of pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, silverware, etc. We do provide dish soap, spices, oil and a small selection of tea. Bring your own coffee supplies, food, beverages, firewood, sunblock and mosquito repellant. We also provide towels for use in the home, soap, shampoo and conditioner and a full basket of beach towels and bags for you to use during your stay.
Marigold has plenty of off-street parking for vehicles and boats, though the parking lot is shared with Snowdrop Apartment downstairs. If you have a large group and would like to book parallel accommodations, you can reserve each apartment separately or together as Blue Iris House. If you have a particularly large group and 5 bedrooms isn't quite enough, please let us know - we have another home just three blocks away in Lake City and also have more rentals across the lake in Pepin, WI that can accommodate very large groups.

Our family attended a wedding in Frontenac and this was a great option for us! Close to venue and more comfortable than hotel.

If you’re into sleeping, note the beds are not comfy. I think they may not be on a box spring. We are on the bigger side so that is a factor but they had no give. Pillows great, bedding clean.
Super cute place. Nice washing machine/dryer.
Highly suggest adding shades to keep the sun out. Window air conditioners couldn’t keep up with upstairs/no shades.

We had a lovely stay here. Everything was clean and in good working order. The apartment had a fully stocked kitchen and it is obvious that host has paid a lot of attention to detail on what one needs when traveling. Apartment was very close to downtown Lake City and we had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful area. Highly recommend!

The house is nice overall. There were a lot of cobwebs that we broke with our faces when entering the house for the first first time. Surfaces and bedding were clean, but there was a definite feeling of a vacant property. Windows were very leaky, there was even a pile of leaves on the kitchen floor!
Location was great. Communication was great. Just felt over priced for what it was.
