This is our 3 year at the A-Frame on Lake Pepin with my oldest brother and sister. 3 weeks ago my 73 year old brother had a stroke and my brother was bound and determined to get to our vacation. He doesn’t leave his home much so, this vacation is very important to the 3 of us. It’s a place he feels comfortable at.
We love to sit on the deck where we talk, laugh soak in the scenery, and watch the birds. My brother also likes trains and especially the Barges.
He Loves telling us stories when he worked on them.
Even though we had to leave a few times for his therapy sessions. It was still enjoyable to spend time together. My brother is improving everyday. I know this vacation helped him very much. Can’t wait until next year.

Everthing was just as described. Beds were comfortable, lakeshore pretty, and it quiet and crazy. Our dog loved running on the beach.

We had such a wonderful stay at the A Frame cabin!
The cabin was clean and had lovely modern updates which made for an easy stay. We love the easy access to the private lakefront beach, and that this cabin is just under an hour and a half from the Twin Cities, so it was an easy get away.
Check in & out was easy, the owner was so nice and hospitable, shared lots of information about the area.
We enjoyed Stockholm, though during the week hours of shops and restaurants is limited. We visited Peppin for breakfast, which was also cute and quiet during the week!

The cottage was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was great and nicely stocked with all the essentials - even a dishwasher! The downstairs bedroom was very small with very little storage, but the bed was very comfortable. The loft bedroom seemed larger with lots more storage, but we chose to be closer to the bathroom. We also enjoyed the great view from the deck!! TV was great. We had a very peaceful and restful time and enjoyed shopping in the great shops there. My only real complaint would be the smell of the water. Really bad I'm sorry to say. I couldn't enjoy the nice walk-in shower. The drinking water was fine. I think that was filtered. Nice, nice place to stay when you're in the mood for just a little adventure.
