We got married in Lake City this past weekend and rented the house for some of our bridal party. We were able go check in early so people could get ready for the rehearsal on Friday. On Saturday it was our get ready spot for the bridesmaids. The living room, kitchen dining room area was so perfect for getting hair and makeup done. We had a bunch of ladies there and it was perfect! Our photographer even used some of the cute house decor in some of our pictures! I put my wedding dress on in the basement, we will remember this place forever!

This house had everything we needed! It is super cute and well decorated. They even supplied three kinds of coffee.

I wanted to love this house but it fell short. Owner is very nice and accommodating to our addition of family members, communication was “so-so”. We were having trouble with the lock (operator error) getting a call back took time and the “property manager” never answered.
The photos on the listing are mostly accurate, but description evasive. ALL 3 bedrooms on the top floor. No bathrooms or bedrooms on the main floor & the basement has the bathroom w/shower AND the washer/dryer. If you are in a bedroom and would like to shower (rather than use the small very old claw foot style bathtub) go down 2 flights of fairly steep stairs to do so. The beds are not very comfortable in our opinion. Lumpy and definitely not “hotel grade down feather comforters”. The closets in the bedrooms did not have any hanging racks- no where to hang your clothes! In one bedroom closet were 2 filthy fans (because it is hot and doesn’t have central air - but has an air conditioning unit in one of the windows upstairs). One of the bed frames was a bit dilapidated …. How this got by housekeeping inbetween guests is beyond me? And window coverings are sheers. Main floor is very cute & nice as well as the kitchen which had what we needed. The front porch is a nice place to have morning coffee. Dog across the street barks a lot and in the AM hours. Overall this house is “fine” but the upstairs (bedrooms) could use some TLC. No soaps etc provided for the tub. Gave a “3” because of upstairs.
