About this apartment rental

"Re Migio Apartment" is a romantic, elegant and welcoming apartment in the historic center of Lucca! The apartment is located on the first floor of a characteristic historic building with elevator! The building entrance is on Via Santa Croce a few steps from Via del Fosso and Porta San Gervasio and from the wonderful Villa Bottini. With an area of about 130 square meters, it can accommodate up to five people and is perfect for couples of all ages who want to spend a beautiful and romantic holiday in Lucca and for business travelers! It is very tastefully and elegantly furnished, with furniture that creates a very warm atmosphere.

Entering the entrance we immediately find a sitting room furnished with antiques and a sofa with flat TV, and a double bedroom a single bedroom and a bathroom. A corridor leads to the bright kitchen with dining area and a wonderful terrace with garden view, a double bedroom, a storage/loundry room and a bathroom. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning! Paid public parking in the street close the building. Wheelchair accessible apartment!

Apartment was clean and the owner was very responsive. She helped us by providing some recommendations on good places for morning cappuccinos and pastry as well as meals. The apartment was on the first floor (2nd floor for those in the States). There was a lift but the stairs were very easy to navigate. Convenient access to the Termini train station.

First…Tania was wonderful. She had to come a couple of because of heating issues..Always with a smile. She ordered a taxi for the train station. It is walkable but not for 2 80 yo pulling luggage. Best shower. Good lighting. Sweet balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Great location.The front bedroom overlooked a busy street And could be a bit noisy but that did not take away from our stay and we look forward to staying there again. and could be a bit noisy.

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely apartment which had 2 double bedrooms and one single plus 2 excellent bathrooms. It had all the amenities required including a DVD player if you want to bring your own movies. It had a small lift which was very helpful even if the flat was on the 1st floor. Tania was extremely helpful and even ordered a taxi for us to go to the train station. The property was wnderful

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay in Lucca, in spite of the rain. Re Miglio apartment. Lots of good things. Excellent location. Close to shopping, buses, grocery stores, short walk to train station The apartmwnt was very clean and has good size bedrooms and well appointed bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything works well. Communication with the host was prompt and all information was given clearly and professionally. The not so good. The apartment fronts onto the main road of Santa Croce with 2 cafes and an osteria accross the street. If you are sleeping in the large double and small bedroom facing the road, you will be awoken every day at 7am when the cafes open and get their deliveries and such. On several nights, there was also a lot of activity late at night until past 1:30am, and could easily be overheard inside the rooms with the windows and shutters shut. Secondly, I think this may be a minor thing that probably cannot be helped, but it took literally 5 minutes for the water in the showers to get war.

A very comfortable apartment with real character. Some lovely old furniture and interesting original paintings on the walls. Very central location near all the sites and with good access to local shops. Livingroom comfortable and spacious, but no direct window so no natural light. Nice to have the balcony at the back. Really enjoyed Lucca, the cathedral, the town wall walk. Highly recommend Forno a vapore Amedeo Giusti for delicious bread, sandwiches etc.

Excellent support from the all of the agents prior to our arrival. All of our questions answered promptly and very helpfully. Apartment was a cool haven on our arrival and as we soon discovered it is very well equipped and extremely comfortable in every way. Spotlessly clean in all rooms and with a very efficient A/C system. The balcony was a pleasure to use.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment is wonderful. It is large, best beds ever, and very peaceful. Not only is it right inside one of the gates, it has restaurants, pasticceria, focaccia, wine store within minutes and several wonderful restaurants within 5-10 minute walks. The bathrooms were spacious and the hot water plentiful. We will be returning!

We stayed in this wonderful apartment located inside the charming walled city of Lucca. Cristina, our host, was wonderful and gracious. She was very easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was roomy and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. However, one issue was an unpleasant septic odor from one of the bathrooms (something we addressed with air freshener and kept the door closed). Otherwise everything was clean and spotless. The apartment was centrally located and within walking distance of the train station. There were restaurants and cafe shops everywhere including a delightful cafe shop right across from the apartment. Very convenient for the morning coffee and pastry. We had a wonderful time in Lucca.

We stayed here for a week. We are a family of four, two adults and two teenagers. The apartment is in a great location within the city walls in Lucca, close to everything. We were delighted with the apartment. It is so spacious and spotless. The showers were brilliant and the air conditioning works very well. All the appliances and bathrooms were as new. The terrace overlooks a lovely green space and is ideal for breakfast and evening drinks. Communication was excellent and any questions we had was answered extremely quickly. As well as being right in Lucca, the apartment is only a 15 minute walk from the train station. We didn't have a car while we were there and used the train to get to Pisa, Florence, Viarreggio (the beach), and from Virareggio got a boat trip to Cinque Terre. Highly recommended. We will be back!
