About this house rental
Summary:
If you're looking for peaceful family fun, close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, you just found it! 15 minutes to the Ark and 50 minutes to the Creation Museum. 80 acres of fun for the whole family! This home boasts a pool (open during warm months), patio, large deck, grill, and covered front porch with beautiful views of the sunset! Don't want to swim? There are plenty of other options! Hike on our nature trails, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time by the creek!
The Space:
Plenty to do for the whole family! 80 acres of paradise, 3600 square foot ranch-style home with a HUGE game room that's sure the keep the kids AND the adults entertained! Take a swim in the pool in the warmer months (open between Memorial Day and Labor Day) or enjoy a hike on the nature trail down to the creek. Plenty of outdoor space with a large deck and a patio by the pool. If it rains, no problem, play a game of pool or ping pong in the game room or play a family board game. Watch TV on one of the many smart TVs. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a TV, there's 1 in the living room (with surround sound) and another 2 TVs in the game room! And of course there's free Wi-fi! Wind down your day with unbelievable views of the sunset from the covered front porch. Whether you stay 2 nights or 2 weeks, you won't be disappointed!
Note: Guests should be aware that hunting is not permitted at this property.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full 80 acres and will have the house to themselves! Access to the home is limited to registered guests only. Any visitors must be approved by the host and may not stay overnight.
We require all guests to sign our rental agreement and provide photo ID via the digital form before check-in instructions will be sent. Check-in info is sent 5 days prior to check-in, assuming completion of the rental agreement.
The Neighborhood:
The "farm" is a short drive from both the Ark and the Creation Museum, and is halfway between downtown
Cincinnati and downtown Lexington! The houses in the area are very spread out, so there is lots of privacy! When you pass
someone on the road, wave, because they likely will too. That's the neighborhood you're in! Everyone minds
their own business, but if you need something, the neighbors will gladly help you out!
Getting Around:
Driving a rental or personal vehicle is your best bet in this beautiful rural setting.
Other Things to Note:
We require all guests to sign our rental agreement and provide photo ID via the digital form before check-in instructions will be sent. Check-in info is sent 5 days prior to check-in, assuming completion of the rental agreement.
Guests should be aware that hunting is not permitted at this property.
Please do not use the indoor wood-burning stove.
Garage is not accessible by guests.
Please note there are 3 single beds, located in the closets of the bedrooms. These beds can be easily moved, and not set up prior to arrival.

House was spacious and perfect for a family. It looked like it may have been closed up for a while because of dust and had some mud on the floor but overall it was fairly clean. We did find a wet diaper under one of the beds and some frozen food left in the freezer but we disposed of those quickly. There were not any sheets for the extra beds and some stains on a few of the towels —Having a few more towels would have been nice too. We were excited about the 80 acres but found the trails overgrown and found ticks on us after being on the porch so we didn’t spend as much time outside as we thought we would. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!

This house was charming, roomy, family friendly. One suggestion to others would be to make sure you bring your groceries because its a long narrow windy road to get there. Also not enough blankets for all the mattresses. The property had nice trails to explore but lots of tics. Our only disappointment was the pool wasn't working.

Was a great host, who answered questions at a late hour instantly. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds. There was a great table to work puzzles on and a nice yard to play croquet. The house had a nice front porch and lots of space for my oldest to pace in the game room in the evening. And, my mother really liked the master shower because it had a bench for her to sit on so she wouldn’t fall while washing. It was quiet and peaceful. Would choose to stay again if in the area. Overall it was great!
