The Hotel Laurel at Seneca

My husband and I loved the location and especially sitting on our balcony while looking at the scenic lake! Our room was comfortable and I noticed how soft the bathroom towels were. Usually when staying at a hotel the towels feel like paper when drying yourself. It was also convenient to have the restaurant located here for our meals.

Very few power outlets. Needed to work on my laptop and had to move the little table around to find a plug

The location is great. The balcony views are fabulous! The staff were very friendly! The room was quite spacious.

The biggest drawback is the bathroom in the room. No one likes the showers with the half glass panel. It was just annoying to deal with the wet floor after every shower. That is a design trend that is just a fail. The other things are small, but could be easily addressed. This is a hotel in wine country, with no legit glassware in the room (and the bar refusing a request to take a couple glasses for the room). Get some cheap glassware with the hotel logo on it, assume people are going to take them, and just raise the room rate by $5! Visitors would be happier as they chill on their balconies with a glass of wine!
