Excellent location, old building with cosy atmosphere, nice touch with crumpets and jam

Beds not very comfy, bathroom very small and no shower, nice weather but couldn’t sit in garden as dirty furniture

Location was excellent, with easy access to the centre and a short walk from the railway station. Living / Dining areas were very comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped although we didn't use it, preferring to eat out for all meals on our short stay. Bed / Pillows were very comfortable

Bathroom was very small with a toilet literately squeezed in between the bath and the wall. Had a bath rather than shower that was hand held Rubbish left under beds and no storage / hangers in the main bedroom

The hosts always respond quickly and seem lovely.

Smaller bedroom needs a vanity mirror on the dressing table.

Fabulous location right in the centre of Chester. We couldn't have had a better location. Some nice touches in the house but overshadowed by....see negative comments

Oh dear where do I start! The house was dirty, full of grim and dust. The kitchen floor had not seen a mop in years, the cooker was unusable due to the ingrained grease. Windows were dirty, skirting boards and floors throughout the house were dirty and dusty. The bathroom had not been cleaned. It was very obvious from previous reviews going back at least 2 years that these issues had not been actioned. A DEEP PROFESSIONAL CLEAN is urgently required or the property should be advertised as Miss Havisaw's house. The attached photos are just a sample of what we encountered.
