Prachtig appartement in hartje Herakleion. Mooie badkamer en een heerlijk bed.
De entree was een beetje morsig. Het appartement is een beetje lastig te vinden.

This little room has all you need for a short stay. Comfy bed, good pillows, kitchenette, washer-dryer, large fridge, bidet hose, ancient lift, narrow balcony with folding cafe seating.
It's in the midst of some the main visitor sites, the shopping and tourist food venues. Go down the narrow alleys nearby for the better food like at Peskesi.
Emails described well how to get to the room. As it's in the heart of the old town, cars can't come to the door. So be prepared to carry your bags a short distance.
Because we were on the road/air a lot we missed the digital pdf guide they sent, and did not know initially that the hot water had to be turned on at the mains 30 mins before using, then turned off. That was on us, once we realised it was fine.
There are some quirks so be sure to read all info that's sent because it's self check in. At no time did we see staff.
Daily cleaning service comes at an additional cost. You will need to contact them to use that service.
A note for light or early sleepers: DJs play outside the various 'party restaurant' venues surrounding the square it's located on This includes the shisa cafe downstairs.
Despite the double glazing we experienced the thud of bass. Totally fine though if you plan to lean into the local culture and be out until quite late.

We appreciated the washer dryer, which was super useful.
Communication with the hosts was prompt and clear. Moreover, the hosts kindly helped us with recovering a forgotten item after check out.
