Excellent location so close to the market, Morosini fountain and square, several takeaway places open early and late. Balcony was great. Good aircon, lift access to 3rd floor for the apartment, cute retro vibe, very clean, shower gel and hand soap was provided. Cafe on the corner (didn't try) and a massage clinic on the next corner (did try, was great and well priced). For a one person short stay first time in Heraklion, it was brilliant. Irini was great at communicating details for check in which was reassuring as I arrived at 11pm.

I found the outside very noisy even with ear plugs - this is beyond the control of the apartment owner. For some reason all of Heraklion is very noisy with flights and I grew up near an airport so I honestly couldn't understand that. The shower is uniquely placed with the water going all over the floor so your bath mat needs to be placed outside the door. There was a stove kettle, not an electric one. Not close to a supermarket; there's a small corner shop for drinks 3mins walk but if you want groceries you need to go to either the market or Super Mamma Bazaar which is near the market.

La ducha no cuenta con un espacio separado, sino que comparte el mismo suelo con el resto del ambiente. A pesar de la cortina, el agua se filtra y termina mojando todo el piso, incluido el área del inodoro. La mopa para secar no era suficiente para resolverlo dado que no absorbía muy bien, por lo que el baño quedaba bastante incómodo después de cada ducha.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, and close to restaurants and the sea.

Not the fault of the property but it is so hard to find overnight parking in downtown! If you can avoid having a car I would.
