Mountain apartment with character

Just returned from 4 night stay, the apartment is cosy, authentic and plenty of room for 4. Spacious, warm, central heating, dish washer, only one flight of stairs to enter the room. The building is at the bottom of small 50m slope. The ski locker is in an adjacent building but you can use a lift to reach the main road. Takes less than 10 mins to walk into the main village, 15 mins to walk to first bubble car (L’Alpin). The stop for the free shuttle is directly across the road from the apartment. The host, Gerard was lovely and met us earlier to help check in. He spoke limited English but we managed with google translate. Just be wary, there is no WIFI in the apartment, however this did not put us off and we would definitely book again. The ski area of Saint Gervais les bain is great, plenty of runs for all and not too much effort to reach from the village. Overall, a very pleasant stay. (Tip: book your ski lockers at the L’Alpin early to avoid disappointment. You then don’t have to walk each day to/from the L’Alpin with your gear or having to squeeze on to the shuttle bus with everyone else).

We stayed here for 4 nights in February to go skiing in the Evasion resort, and we had a great time. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, Gerard was very helpful (he even picked us up from the train station), and the location is very convenient both for access to the town as well as the ski lift.
