It a short drive from everything including downtown, the Deer Park Entrance, and the Olympic National Park Visitor Center. The home was super clean, updated and had all of the necessities we needed, even the little things! The beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms were quiet. It was so nice sleeping with the windows open. The location was great for our adventures in Olympic National Park, biking and walking on the Olympic Discovery Trail, catching the ferry to Victoria and eating/shopping in Port Angeles. The hot tub was very clean and it was such a nice atmosphere out on the patio with the string lights and fire table too. We loved seeing the deer in the yard! Shawna was very responsive all the time. I would highly recommend staying at this house!

My extended family of 11 really enjoyed this property and we have rented a lot of places over the years. This was a favorite due to the variety of things to see and do nearby. My fishing obsessed nephews found a great spot and caught several pink salmon. We had trail access literally outside the backyard. We saw several deer during our stay and were close to the water via a short walk, nice birdwatching areas. Close to Port Angeles for retail therapy, cute shops, and loved all of the public artwork. The home itself is lovely and comfortable, lots of room to spread out and have quiet time if wanted. Took advantage of the hot tub, corn hole, and used the fire table for s'more making one night. Great place!

Check in was smooth. Kitchen was well stocked and roomy enough for more than one person.House was very clean and comfortable. Great backyard and patio! And of course the Discovery Trail can be accessed right from a gate in the backyard!We had a doe and 2 fawns visit us every day!!The Host is very responsive! Great recommendation of the Down Rigger st the Wharf for dinner!Overall, everyone was pleased and would return!

Check-in and communication with host were easy and efficient. Unit was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. You really don't need to bring anything from home as this unit has it all. Location was quiet and access to the walking path was right out the back gate. Great property and best vacation rental our family has stayed at.

The location was perfect, we loved the access to the trail from the back yard. We used the hot tub, the tether ball was a hit with the kids. We made s’mores at the fire pit and cooked dinner both nights we were there. The house was perfect for our 2 families with 4 adults and 6 kids total. Lots of games to play inside and out. The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is central to many outdoor activities also. We went to Rialto beach, Marymere falls, Hurricane Ridge, the Olympic Game farm, and Dungeness Spit over the 3 days we were there. Thanks for the great place to stay!

My extended family of 8 adults and 3 teenagers had a wonderful time here. We played badminton, ping pong, and corn hole. We biked from the house to Sequim for lunch, and we walked down to the beach at sunset where we saw seals bobbing in the water. We cooked dinner every night and had all the kitchen supplies we needed. The bathrooms were spacious and we had lots of towels. We also did a lot of laundry. The main living room was big enough for us to gather around the tv. We even found an extra table and chairs in the closet so we had plenty of places to sit and eat. We were able to store bikes in the garage. Two teenagers played Monopoly every day and got in the hot tub every night. Everyone slept soundly on comfortable beds. It was great to have all the bedrooms upstairs and away from the gathering places. We went to Hurricane Ridge and saw two bear cubs climbing a tree!

Our group travels together a lot, and this is the best property we have stayed at in the whole decade we've done trips like this. The listing was accurate, the location was beautiful, and the house had everything we needed. We cook a lot, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of cozy couches, chairs, and cuddly blankets to get comfortable with. My 5 year old loved the toys, books, and the piano in the loft. We would 100% stray here again next time we are in the area. Thank you for providing such a perfect space for us!

Beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood. We were a family of 6, and enjoyed our stay. All of us felt very comfortable, each with our own bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed in order to make meals. We loved climbing the back steps to access the Olympic Discovery Trail, and take the short walk to beach. The home is located 15 from the Port Angeles Ferry. Once in town, we shopped at the Country Aire market for groceries, and from there walked to the table games store, Anime Kat, for some MGT cards. We had a wonderful time!

We had such a great time at Shawna’s place. The house is situated on the Olympic Discovery Trail, so you can walk 10 minutes to the beach or about 20 minutes to a bridge over a creek. We made smores in the firepit and grilled burgers and chicken on the charcoal grill. The kids loved having so many living spaces to spread out in - they each had their own room and 3 living spaces, not including ping pong in the garage. Most of all, I loved that my kids were asking to play outside at every chance (we had to rein in their tetherball playing at times because they tended to yell and sometimes it was early) – the yard is huge and we let them walk along the trail without us. The beds were all clean and comfortable, including delightful memory foam pillows. The master has a huge closet which was great for spreading out our large suitcase. We loved opening the windows and creating a refreshing cross breeze through the house. The laundry room has a large counter for folding clothes. There are tons of clean towels in every bathroom. The coffee maker offers a choice of Keurig pod or drip coffee. The house is wonderfully situated to explore the Olympic National Park and is 10 minutes from Port Angeles. It's also minutes from Walmart and maybe 5-7 minutes from a large Safeway that has a gas station. We all enjoyed this house so much that when we came back on the ferry from Victoria after this stay, my kids all wanted to go back to Shawna’s. We highly recommend it!

By far the best Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Had everything we needed and wanted. Short walk to the water for sunrise and sunsets. Short drive to Olympic, ferry, grocery stores, and cute downtown. Ping pong and hot tub were a hit! Beds were comfy and rooms big. Bonus of baby deer playing in backyard. Labeling of all cabinets was really helpful. Several living spacing so if we needed down time we could get away from everyone. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood! Highly recommend!

From the time we initally started planning our trip the property manager was extremely good at answering any questions we had. The home was very spacious and laid out very nicely. There was several common areas. The amnenuties were outstanding. All appliances were very good quality along with ample towels etc. Was a wonderful place for our family of 8 to stay. Especially enjoyed the propane fireplace under the canopy where we could relax after a day of exploring beautiful Olympic National Park. Our week long stay exceeded our expectations and provided us with many lifelong memories!

Well equipped house with multiple amenities! Location was perfection! Close to town, close to the national park, best part was the trail behind the house! Through the back gate, was a paved walking path that led to the beach. This was a surprise and absolutely amazing! The house was clean, comfortable for our family. Thank you!

This was an absolute prefect place to stay. The house matched the descriptions and everyone in family of 7, incl. 18mo & 6-1/2yr old (going on 7), had plenty of room. Communication with Shawna was excellent, and she responded very quickly to a couple of questions. There's a city Olympic path just behind the back yard to lead down to a view of the straits and the beach. The location was also perfect. Only a 20-30min drive to Lake Crescent and Marymere falls hiking, and about 45-50 minutes to Ruby Beach over on the Pacific coast of the Olympic pennisula. There is an Olympic National Park entrance just few miles away, but unfortunately, due to fires, Hurricane Ridge and the road were closed about half way up, so we weren't able to hike. The Port Angeles to Victoria ferry was just 15min away in downtown and catching the ferry for a day trip to Victoria was a breeze. So, overall, if you have a moderate to large group, I would highly recommend this house.

The home is in a quiet neighborhood. The Discovery Trail is very easy to access from the backyard. Our family enjoyed playing ping pong, badminton, cornhole, and various card and board games. The house is very well appointed and provides guests with space. We had a mama deer with her twins hang out with us in the backyard one night. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the fantastic covered patio within 20 feet of one of the fawns. Best morning coffee experience. All the local businesses and activities are only a few minutes away. Very convenient.

The perfect place for a family Christmas. The house had everything we needed to feel like we were at home AND WAY MORE. It felt warm and comfortable, we wished we could have stayed longer! The location was incredible, we could see the mountains from the yard, biked straight onto the Discovery trail into Port Angeles, and could easily walk our dog to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet and lovely people. Would highly recommend!

The setup of this property was wonderful. The design, comfort and function were great and the house was immaculate. Easy access to points of interest. We rented the Discovery Lane house and couldn't have loved it more! Every room was so thoughtfully set up and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and gadgets we needed to prepare meals for our family reunion. There were toys for little kids, books for the older kids, video games and blazing fast Wi-Fi for everyone. The backyard was so great to let the cousins play, roast marshmallows and hike the Discovery Trail. The adults enjoyed some after bedtime relaxing in the hot tub and table tennis boasting. Would highly recommend this rental anyone getting away or looking for an excellent home to explore the Olympic National Park.

We loved the house it was perfect. Only change I would have made was the fold out beds in office. My 6’5 boys did not fit and the beds were not comfortable. We needed those beds to be real beds. Maybe 2 twin size beds in the room?

The location was awesome and the home was even better. With such a spacious layout rich with amenities such as the hottub, firepit, large TV, and excellent patio, my family had a wonderful time, and in fact, appreciated the house more than the trip at times. The nature walk beside the property leads to a wonderful beach, where we had an excellent time rock hunting. Likewise, there's a stream up the way for a cool off or relaxing nature walk. All items were stocked as you would expect and the property manager was extremely friendly, responsive, and outgoing. An excellent experience.
