Welcome to Shangri-La and home of your true log cabin experience! From the moment you step onto the property of Shangri-La you are taken in by the incredible views and size of space. There is ample parking for multiple vehicles, a pickleball/basketball court, large water facing deck with seating and accessible ramp. Property has access to private beach through private walkway around front of property. Guests can also enjoy the view while swinging on a tree swing.
The cabin is thoughtfully decorated in vintage style decor and furniture with modern touches. The original 1930`s logs have never been changed out and provides a very rustic and historic feel to the home. Almost every room boasts a view of the water and is warm and inviting.
Step inside the front door and find an open concept living space with kitchen, dining area and 3 bunks. The entry way has a wood burning fire insert and space to sit and remove shoes or set down luggage. Continue on and find the large live slab dining room table that sits 8 and a well-equipped kitchen to cook all your favorites! Finally move towards the living room featuring a large wood burning fireplace for snuggling and getting cozy on those PNW chilly nights. This space also features a dedicated workspace and 3 comfortable bunks with shelving and privacy curtains.
Move towards the back of the house to find the primary room with en-suite bathroom featuring tiled in shower, walk in closet and King size bed.
Main floor also includes guest 3/4 bath and laundry area with full size washer and dryer.
As guests travel upwards the home opens up to a loft space TV and game room. This room is equipped with a TV, DVD`s, board and card games as well as a Wii console, controllers. Guests can use this as a sleeping space also, using the Queen sized sofa sleeper bed.
Moving down the hall there are 2 generous sized rooms, each with a queen bed and closet, one faces the water one looks onto the property. There is also a main full bathroom on this level featuring shower/tub combo.
Step outside to the writer`s studio just 100 feet away from the cabin. This cozy spot is a dedicated, secluded workspace with various office supplies. This space can also be used as an additional sleeping area. NOTE: Bed is smaller than a twin. Not ideal for adults or taller individuals.
Exploring outside guests will find a large water facing deck, large yard space for games or events, back patio with grill and out door dining area as well as the wood storage. Take a walk down the path to the beach and walk along collecting shells or rocks.
Home is close to nature trails, marina and park. Point no Point beach and lighthouse are just 5 minutes away. The nearest Safeway is about 15 minutes away, the ferry to Seattle from Kingston is 30 minutes away and the lovely town of Port Gamble is 20 minutes away and The Point Casino & Hotel is 10 minutes away. Just a few minutes away is Foul Weather Bluff Wildlife Preserve where after a short 1/4 mile walk opens up to a sandy beach.
With all these amenities and features, this home is the perfect vacation spot!
Guests have access to entire property except for the yurt, shed on back of carport or other shed by pickleball court. Firewood is for guest use and found in the chicken coop on water side.
We want guests to enjoy the property and respect privacy, but are also available if need. Just message in the app or call the number provided.
This cabin is nestled on a quiet piece of land where neighbors are not too close, but quiet hours are still to be respected.

Property is pet friendly, no cats and 2 dogs max.
Dogs must be kept on leash while outside, no animals on furniture.
There is no barrier between the water and the property. Children must be supervised at all times.
By booking a stay at Shangri-La you are agreeing to use the home and property at your own risk.
In the winter the power may go out, there is a generator.
Home is in a natural setting. Guests may see wildlife including raccoons, squirrels, bats, deer, and native insects. Please remember to keep doors and windows without screens closed at night to prevent mosquitos, moths, birds or bats from interrupting your evening.
