About this house rental
Only a short drive/ferry from Seattle, this 4 bedroom beach house provides families and friends a magical place to escape from the city. Nuzzled in the beachfront community of Skunk Bay near Hansville WA., you and your guests will have access to miles of beaches with unobstructed views of the Puget Sound, Whidbey Island, the Cascades & Mt. Baker. Birger's Beach House is a perfect home for family gatherings or group outings.
The space
This large beachfront house was designed for entertaining indoors and out. The main level boasts a large open floor plan with the fully stocked kitchen, dining room and living room. It has a separate TV room (apple tv provided), two spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a sauna, laundry room and a bar. The main floor opens up to the front porch with a 150-foot bulkhead that steps down to a sandy beach.
The upstairs encompasses the Master Bedroom, large master bath with amazing views and another large sleeping room with two queen beds along with an office space.
The front yard is the beach and Puget Sound while the backyard has plenty of space for field games.
The Birger House is only a 25-minute drive from the Kingston Ferry and is near stunning hiking trails, cafes, quaint towns while being secluded, quiet and peaceful.
Other things to note
The house has a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Large garbage & recycling containers are located in the garage.

This was the best rental house we've ever stayed in. It was extremely well-equipped and comfortable for our group, and we loved being right on the beach. The host provided all the information we needed. We would give the stay 6 starts if we could!

Nice property with great water views and beach access. House was well equipped, clean, and spacious. Owner was very responsive and communicative. We spent most of our trip enjoying the waterfront deck area. Only downside is houses are fairly close together although one of the neighbors was quite friendly.
