Close to beach, shops and bus stop.

Only 1 bathroom/toilet. Very noisy road. Very creaky bed in main bedroom.

Excellent host. Brilliant little apartment. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the beach!

Such a shame that the sea view from the balcony is lost to a new development - in progress.

Loved the feature wall and fire effect in the kitchen and the comfortable (although creaky) double bed. The heating was simple to boost if needed, we found it a bit cold in the evening so it was easy to boost it. The cushions made it a bit warmer on the leather sofa. The big bath was nice, my husband used it when we couldn't work the shower. The washing up liquid and sponge etc were provided. The secret room was sweet, great if you have little ones with you.

The non-sea view, we could see a bit of the sea in the distance but there is a building site in the way now, there is a block of apartments being built to block out the sea view. We booked the apartment to see the sea view! We couldn't work the shower and had to ring up for help, we'd not come across a tilt lever control like that before. Instructions in the wrlcome folder would've been helpful. There were some maintenance things that required fixing. The flooring to the bedroom had a metal strip on in the doorway which was loose and not attached to any of the floor, but it kept getting caught in the doorway and was flicking up loudly. The owners said they'd get someone to fix it during our stay but we just took the metal plate up so it stopped bouncing up at us. There was a broken piece of laminate in the kitchen too. The bedside lamp had no top securing ring on the shade so the lampshade wobbled. Not a full set of 4 cutlery. No baking sheet for the oven just pots and dishes and a grillpan. We just wanted to cook some snacks on one of the evenings and the sheet would've been useful. I couldnt use the hand soaps as they had a strong perfume and made me sneeze and cough, but it was good to have them provided if you don't suffer from hayfever. I do think its awful that Bournemouth council approved the building works but feel we should have been informed. Luckily we went on a Friday and could only hear the noise that one afternoon. The owners offered us a late check out for the inconvenience but we had made plans by the time we knew.

The accommodation was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was an easy trip to the beach and we enjoyed several walks.

We booked this property particularly to enjoy a sea view. Booking in March we were aware that the weather might be poor so we may be inside a lot. We got there to find a two storey block of flats going up in front of us. No sea view but a noisy building site. Fortunately the company were able to offer us some compensation for this.
