The White House - Lux Southbourne beach 3 bed stay

Good location within walkable distance to the beach. The house was spacious and clean. Beds are comfy. Kitchen has everything we needed. Well stocked with children’s books and games which my little one appreciated very much!

We stayed there while it was the heatwave and unfortunately the flat got extremely hot inside. The windows have restrictors which means we can only open a small gap and therefore cannot cool the flat down. Two fans was provided but only one worked properly. It was so hot that we couldn’t sleep during the night. Parking is pretty difficult during the day - while host mentioned there is a small space that we could use, the ground floor owner pretty much told us that we can’t really park there as his wife’s car will need the space. So we only try to park on the street (which is pretty much impossible during the day). There’s not much else around the immediate area. There’s no dining table - there were 5 of us and we can’t really fit around the kitchen bar to have food altogether. Hot water was also a bit temperamental but it was not a hugh problem for us as it was so hot that we didn’t mind the cold shower!

The property was clean tidy and comfortable in a great location.

Amazing light, airy, modern apartment. Spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a fabulous stay. Beds were super comfortable. Only slight niggle was the water temperature for the shower but the host was really responsive and helpful. Couldn’t fault it and a superb location! We can’t wait to return.

Lack of privacy in the bedrooms at the front. The curtains didn’t fit the windows properly. The parking wasn’t good with the residents clearly taking offence at us parking on the road.
