I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden getaway, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled amidst stunning surroundings, this property offers a breathtaking view that left me in awe. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the well-equipped facilities. The Japanese shower/bath on the ground floor was a delightful touch, allowing for a truly immersive and relaxing bathing experience. The separate western-style Japanese toilet units on each floor were clean and convenient. Additionally, the air conditioning in each room and the Dyson fan provided a comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. While getting to the property without a car proved to be a bit challenging, the moment I arrived, I realized it was worth every effort. The serene ambiance and picturesque views made it a truly exceptional place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The owner of the property deserves special mention for their outstanding hospitality. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and respectful in all our interactions, particularly when accommodating our request for a late check-in. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring our stay was memorable and worried about our safety. They are also fluent in English if you can't speak Japanese. I discovered that the owner owns several cottages in the area, which are more like full-fledged houses. This speaks volumes about their dedication to providing top-quality accommodations. The value for the price we paid was unmatched, and I couldn't have asked for better service. To top it all off, the owner even offered to drop us off at a location of our choice upon checkout, adding an extra touch of convenience and thoughtfulness to our stay. In conclusion, my one-night stay at Koti + Yamanakako was a truly remarkable experience. From the stunning views to the well-equipped facilities and exceptional service, it exceeded all my expectations.

Mild Hiking to get there, but that's a plus depending on who you ask. And you can ignore this if you have a car/bike.
