I loved everything about this property! It was tastefully decorated, very large rooms, and well kept. It was incredible to stay in such a historic home. Paul, was an excellent host, he was very kind, and took time to show us around the property as well as share some of its history. Breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. It was conveniently located as well.

Quaint, well-maintained and attractive property in a bucolic setting. Updated bath and bed rooms that still maintain all the charm of the old farm/fort that it is. Cozy bedding. Pleasant stay whether it is wandering the grounds, sitting outside in patio chairs, or gazing out to the fields from upper story windows. Simple delicious breakfast of fresh bread, homemade jam, and farm-fresh eggs (served sunny side up only!). Wonderful helpful host who greets you at the door and eager to converse, make recommendations, and share the history of his family's farm/fort. Very close to D-Day beaches, 20 minutes from Bayeux; works as a "central" homebase to explore Normandy from Mont Saint Michel to the Norman cheese and Calvados regions - both ~1.5 hours drive.

No bath soap or shampoo provided, just handsoap. No AC (although generally not needed for mild Normandy temperatures).
