The house was in the centre of town.
Beds were comfortable.
There were plenty of kitchen utensils.
There were unexpected extras.
The area is very loud Thursday-Saturday nights due to its proximity to local pubs.
The lounge is in the basement and not very relaxing.

The host was great. Lisa answered all my questons before arrival which made check in easy. The house is rustic, but nice. Location was good for the beach. It is also handy that there is a big supermarket opposite which is good for the self catering option.
Location is good for beach. However the house is next to a busy road, two bars and seems to be the main way in and out of town. If you are a light sleeper then you are not gettng any sleep. We stayed Friday and Saturday. It may be different in the week. I think the house may be pet friendly as it did have a smell of wet dog downstairs. However, we only used it as a base so it was fine.

Good location close to town centre. Dogs are allowed to stay, extra charge. Well equipped and clean.
Stairs are a bit scary. Very noisy at night as close to student party areas 🎉

Location was very good
The description of the property did advise that it wasn't suitable for small children, which is true. It was an experience as the house was very old, and the winding old rickety original stairs were initially a bit scary , we did not use the dark downstairs living room and thought it would have been better as another bedroom,and make the 1st bedroom a nice bright living room. Everything we needed was there and the rooms were very clean, bed linen etc.
