Excellent location close to the seaside and the shops. Two big comfortable double bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen.
would have been good to know from the start that it had 4 floors including the living room in the basement (which was nice but not convenient to use). There was no reason to go to the living room at the basement as there was only aerial tv (no Netflix etc).

Property was located close to town centre, easy to access it was comfortable and perfectly suited to mount needs!
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property in fairness

Very good location with a cheap public carpark a short walk away £7 for 24 hours. The house was very quirky and old, the stairs are a bit scary if you have young children or dogs but adds to the character of the property.

Amazing location close to everything

Loved the actual feel of the house how it had been modernized but too much so didn’t lose that Victorian charm. Was wonderful for us old girls of the uni to meet up and see each other again. The fireplace and basement was such a cute cosy area we enjoyed spending time in there very much.
A few towels have little specs on so would advise host to get new towels and possibly make them bigger as we’re quite small. Maybe some blackout blinds also for bedrooms as light from streetlights was very noticeable all night. As we were checking out some maintenance painting on outside was being done and had a few drips onto us as he was doing. We weren’t aware of this and am sure wasn’t host fault more council.

Clean, location, pleasant and prompt communication
We feel there are a couple of safety shortcomings in this property. There are no safety side bars on the top bunk which means a child (or anyone sleeping in it) could roll over and fall off the top bunk. Also, the stairs on the first floor landing extend to halfway across the bathroom doorway area making it rather dangerous - especially at night if someone not fully awake and aware.
The TV did not work for us - no channels tuned in and no Netflix or Apple etc box.

Nice location.
Very “rustic”. Original victorian wooden spiral staircase narrow and difficult to access - accommodation is spread over 4 floors. Uncomfortable lumpy beds and poor quality linen and towels. Really should advertise as a “hostel” type accommodation for budget travellers. Instructions for heating etc are all outdated and had to contact host to find out how to start this.

The property is a gorgeous and quirky Victorian townhouse. Centrally situated so no need to use the car once we had parked in nearby overnight parking. (St Michael's church, a short walk from the accommodation, parking £4 per 24hours). Tesco superstore directly across the road very convenient for stocking up for the weekend. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We loved the period features of the property. The shower was a good pressure and the temperature in the apartment was comfortable. We had everything we needed for a weekend stay.
Maybe a bit more hanging space for towels would be useful?
Some members of the party struggled with the noise from late night revellers, but this is to be expected when staying centrally.

Generally clean, nice towels.
Lounge in the basement was cold so had to go out and buy fuel for the log burner to warm up. Water for the showers was Luke warm at best.

Excellent location , Compact but roomy . Good value . Great Thai takeaway a few doors up
10.0 / 10.0
Close to the amenities of town including should, restaurants and bars etc.
Everything needed to house a group or family stay, would suggest slightly older family in regards to smaller children only because of the steep stairs etc.
All good, a couple of points but not dislikes;
1. Location for some is quite noisy, cars and seagulls possibly thicker windows to reduce noise levels in the bedrooms?
2. Just a heads up in advance on parking.

The house was beautiful. the decorations and furniture was nice. You have a washing machine and dryer and the owners have got the washing powder and softer they for you. the kitchen has tea coffee, a microwave, washing up liquid and other cleaning products. The dinner has a radio that my kids enjoyed listening to music on. The lounge is on the lower ground floor it has Netflix and other apps so you wouldn’t get bored just login into you account the 1 bedroom and bathroom are on first floor, bathroom has shower gel, shampoo and a moisturiser. all bedrooms have fresh sheets and towels ready for you to use. second floor has the master bedroom and the bunk bedroom. by the front door is leaflet for a restaurant which is convenient. All and all it was a beautiful experience and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

- Superb location, really close to everything you need in Aberystwyth.
- Very spacious place with really quirky features throughout, spread across four floors.
- Really friendly staff member turned up on the morning of us leaving and was lovely to chat to and patient when we had to return to the accommodation as we'd left a mobile phone inside.

no carpet on stairs or landing. stairs down to the living room made from slate/stone and extremely steep. uneven depths and width of step. nearly took a tumble on a couple of occasions.
settee in living room had been well used. dip in the middle of one. little rowdy outside on Saturday night as located between two late opening bars.
kitchen was equips but not enough to cook for a family. very basic.

Our host Liza was great. All communication was prompt, timely and accurate. The location wasn't perfect, but wasn't too bad either. Just a short walk from the beach and the town centre, and just around the corner from Tesco Superstore – which was very convenient.
Upon first booking, and looking at the pictures within the property profile, I was intrigued by the characteristic old-cottage feel of the place. However, actually living there was quite a different experience. Overall (for us at least), it felt quite dark and gloomy in the property. All the amenities required were available and in working order. Nevertheless, the decor still felt a bit glum. Parking was a challenge, although the advice we received from our host was useful and accurate.

Very clean and tidy. Good size rooms.
It was a bit noisy during the night but you would expect that from town Centre location.

Very unique property, very clean, great location. Laundry facilities were so convenient.
The shower door was a little short. The curtains in the bedrooms don’t block out the street light right outside.

Good central location in Aberystwyth.
Three of us stayed and had extended family visit for a get together, this was a perfect location for us.
There was plenty of space, it's well-equipped and nicely decorated. Importantly the beds were comfy.
Good communication from the owner, all queries very prompt sorted.
Parking isn't easy, but great information given by the owner so able to resolve this issue.
