No longer my favorite.

We used to love this property and have stayed here many times. The pool, bar, and bartenders are all excellent. When the on-site restaurant, Sol y Sombra, is open, it’s a must-try — the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

The score reflects the state of our room and bed's cleanliness, as well as the resort's response to addressing these issues. Additionally, communication from management after our stay was lacking, which impacted our overall experience. The worst of part of this was that this was our anniversary weekend and it was ruined.

Beautiful grounds but the service could have been more attentive.

The location, decor and staff were great. The service in the restaurant was sorely lacking.

I wish we had microwave in the unit. I wish the housekeeper had been more attentive.

We had a wonderful time- the pool was delightful and the experience exceeded our expectations.

The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. All the staff were kind and helpful. The rooms themselves were very well laid out.

There was some disrepair in the rooms (the bedside lamps were falling off the wall). A few more amenities for the mini kitchen would have been nice.

Seemed we chose a bad week.

Decor and property layout were very fine

No one at reception when arrived. No food and drink except at weekend Soaps in bathroom were not filled Bedside lights had to be plugged in and out as had no switches. Probably some problems due to being off season, but we paid full price

Dirty rooms, do not stay

Property was good location and had a pool

Room smelt really bad, bedsheets were stained and we found loads of hairs on them indicating they hadn’t been changed, there was no food and drink places open and the filter water ran out. They advertise 24h front desk and no one was there or responding to our messages.

Amazing staff and beautiful property!!

I loved the rooms, the pool was so much fun with great music and the staff was AMAZING. They were ready for us as soon as we got there and let us check in early and check out late. They were so accommodating and caring, i didn't have to worry about anything during my stay. I will definitely be returning here the next time I'm in Palm Springs!

A wonderful getaway trip over Memorial Day weekend!

A great boutique hotel. We stayed in a one (king) bed bungalow that was situated behind the pool which we loved because it gave us good access back and forth. Plenty of lounge chairs (did not require a day bed but we did reserve one and it was great too). The manager was super accommodating to every request. Bathroom was big with a big shower. Pool food was great. Drinks were good too! Was able to bring our own drinks out to the pool area too.

The room should be equipped with more towels. Kitchen: utensils, simple plate ware, and maybe a small microwave? It has a fridge and sink so it would have been easy to prepare our own food with these little extras.

Fantastic customer service with clean and comfortable rooms.

The service here was wonderful. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The bar by the pool staff were all super kind. I couldn't drink alcohol because I'm pregnant, and they made me nonalcoholic drinks. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Parking was right by our room, so that was also super convenient.

Great getaway

Cute spot with historic roots of Palm Spring. Offer pickleball, bike, pool, jacuzzi, lots of areas to lounge.

Due to the wind the pool and hot tub did get a bit leafy but that is out of their control.

Colourful and worth it

The pool is kept at the perfect temp and available 24/7. Staff were super nice and amazing. The rooms are cute and colourful. We stayed for one night but def would love to stay again for a longer time to enjoy palm springs. The dinner on site was good as well so didn't even need to leave.

Good value for Palm Springs- go for the bigger 2nd floor rooms.

Clean and modern. Large rooms with outside terraces.

Lack of sound insulation and no black out blinds. Not really a resort - no breakfast and restaurant closed Sunday / Monday. You have to drive out to find breakfast.

All great but couldn’t get a good night sleep

Great location that is closed to shopping center yet away from street noise. Staff is great especially Paul. He was so friendly and very helpful. The room is nicely decorated and very clean. Nice TV program selection includes Netflix , AppleTV , etc. The resort has many nice facilities but we didn’t get to use them since our plan was hiking.

The room we stayed was bright at night even closing the blinds. We had to wear eye mask. I prefer a firmer mattress in general, but the bed was too hard that I had to keep tossing and turning. I could hardly get sleep. The room doesn’t have good noise insulation that we could clearly hear next room’s conversation

Incredible, attention to detail was spot on, and views were to die for.

Location was amazing, attention to detail was fantastic, it was an adorable spot. It felt like they had thought of everything. There was even a white noise machine if it was too quiet. Since it was quieter and the hotel bar closed at 8 (if I remember correctly), I would say if you're planning on being rowdy and out late, maybe this isn't your spot, but then again, the individual bungalow rooms could be perfect for those folks. I found it perfect for an older family, golfers, joshua tree folks etc.

There was a school behind the facilities so if you stay on a weekday, you do have to be cognizant that they start at 7:30/8am. This is only for a handful of the rooms, and I myself stayed facing into the facility, so even though my parents were in the same unit, their room was the only one that could hear the school. They didn't mind since they are early risers anyways, just something to ask about when you book. They did however get an insanely nice view of the sunrise from their balcony.

Colorful decor that gave you the full Palm Springs experience, large room, great amenities which included a gym, warm pool and hot tub with floaties, and bikes to explore.

Room was spacious and beautiful, there are also nice pool and leisure room.

Nobody cleaned our room and when I went to reception to get new towels - it was empty. When I told that to staff while checking out, he didn't pay attention.

Gem in Palm Springs

The manager onsite John and his front desk clerk we very accommodating. Gave a better room when there was an issue with our room. Rooms looked like apartments/suites instead of hotel rooms, which made it very comfortable.

Walk-in shower leaked a lot of towels had to be used. Cleaning staff made a clear mistake with room maintenance and was not forthcoming about it when asked.

The food order was sent and was missed, had to follow up front desk was able to help and our food arrived but we were not provided with utensils or napkins.
