The host, Richard, was amazing. He was very responsive to messages and incredibly helpful and responsible. When there was an issue, he resolved it immediately. When things were missing, he would provide them. We couldn't be happier with the host.
The apartment was comfortable and had all the amenities anyone would need in a vacation home. Especially the washing machine was appreciated. Since the apartment doesn't get any sun, it was nice to have a decent heating system. The kitchen was well equipped. The place was clean as well and we liked the location. You can walk to a few attractions and to the historic downtown.
In general, we liked our stay, but... Despite the apartment being pet friendly, the complex doesn't have any space for animals to go to the bathroom. There is a spot a five-minute walk up the hill for dogs to go potty. It's also where the trash and recyclables are collected. Both places are quite disgusting as people are not responsible for their mess. Sometimes, it's difficult to find a parking spot on the street, but if you wait a little while, a space will open up.
For us, the biggest problem was the noise from the neighbors above us. The ceilings and walls are very thin, so we could hear everything. The Spanish people above us went to bed very late and were loud until then, so this kept us awake at times. Luckily, running the portable ventilator muffled some of the sounds.
It was a chilly period the two weeks we stayed here in February. The heat worked, but beware of one thing: you can only run one of the appliances at once or the fuse will trip. So, beware when using the oven or stove to turn off the heater. :)

Una estancia fantástica! El apartamento es precioso y está ubicado en una zona inmejorable, cerca de todo pero tranquilo para descansar. Tenía absolutamente todo lo necesario para sentirnos como en casa. La atención al detalle marca la diferencia. Repetiremos sin duda!

La tranquilidad
Hay que coger el coche para todo. No hay nada cerca. La piscina no la hemos podido usar. Lavadora con puerta rota, aire acondicionado que hace mucho ruido.
