Olive Cottage Small bolt hole close to Carbis Bay Beach & St Ives

Very comfortable! Excellent location! Everything you need for a few days away !

Nothing nog to like !

Olive Cottage is a very nice, spacious and modern accommodation with LR and kitchen downstairs, BR and bathroom upstairs. It's close to the train station, although a bit of a steep climb. There is a good market right across the street if you're doing self catering and a larger Tesco market about a 10-minute walk away. We had an excellent dinner at Romano's, again right across the street, with a couple of other well-rated options also nearby. The walk into St. Ives from Carbis Bay along the water is lovely if you choose (about 40 minutes), or you can take the train in. The host is very pleasant and helpful, and communication was easy; responses to questions prior to arrival were always very timely (through Booking.com). She stored our luggage after check-out until our departure time and also offered to drive us to the train station. All together a very pleasant stay away from the intense activity in St. Ives itself.

I suspect this was a simple oversight, but there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. We always travel with our own so it wasn't an issue, but good to inquire about this.

Amazing location right next to the bus stop which means you can easily get into St Ives and a shop opposite for necessities. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating giving us many recommendations and checking we enjoyed our stay.
