Stylish coastal retreat in St Ives with parking

Clean and well appointed separate unit. The owner is very pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

The location is not good since you have to either drive or take a train or taxi to Saint Ives and back. For the amount charged, breakfast should have been included. Overall, expensive given the lack of relative advantages

The self-contained garden apartment was a lovely living space. It was very clean and tastefully furnished throughout. The bed was very comfortable and the outside area was a pleasant sun-trap. Izzy and Rob were friendly and personable owners and all communication with them was very good. Treats were provided which were much appreciated. Parking outside was easy and St Ives was a short drive away. We were pleased we chose to stay here during our stay in St Ives.

Unfortunately we didn't have Wi-Fi for much of our stay although Izzy and Rob tried very hard to resolve this for us.

Exceptional close to beach and also train station to st ives. Property could not be any cleaner nice extras included highly recommended

Nothing to dislike

It was clean and nice but do note that it’s not exactly “coastal”. It’s walking distance to the beach but situated in a dimly-lit neighbourhood. And this is not a resort or hotel if that’s what you’re expecting, it’s a cabin behind someone’s house.

I don’t usually write reviews but this stay has made me very uncomfortable. Do note that check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is earlier than usual at 10am, so you have a long 5 hours’ gap there. That is fine if you read the fine prints, but hosts are not welcoming especially if you arrive early to leave your bags. I also got an unusual (“friendly”) message early in the morning telling me that check-out time is 10am, as if to make sure guests leave as soon as contractual time is up. Not that I would like to stay beyond 10am, but would be nice not to feel like I am getting chased out.
