Montgomery Cavendish Cottages

The location was very good and walkable to Cavendish Beach

I did not like that the host was not on site. We faced an issue with the washing machines on our last night, the load did not complete as the time run out. We didn't realize the timer had started and the load would be shut off as we were 2 minutes delayed trying to figure out how to start the machines. We needed to be up at 5 am the next morning, and with young kids needed to put them to bed and pack all our things, but could not as the washer lid was locked. When I told the office, they told me the staff person would be back at 8 pm. At 8: 30 pm, I reached out and was told the staff person won't be back until 9: 30 pm, which was wayyy too late for us. My husband drove into town to get change and had to restart the washer and run the quick cycle and place the laundry in the dryer. We didn't get to bed until late and wished the host would've advised us as soon as they knew their manager would not be on site until much letter. We would've gone into town earlier for change. The machines only accept loonies. A $2 load turned into $4 and the dryer only needed $1 but we put two as each cycle is $2 but that must be an error. I was told I would be refunded, that never happened. The whole experience and lack of staff on site made for a very stressful night. The host never apologized .

Très bien situé, très bien équipé, propre, lumineux, superbe vue, espace de jeu extérieur pour les enfants, quoi demander de mieux! C'était parfait!

Le sèche-linge était très rouillé, nous n'avons pas pu l'utiliser, de peur de tacher nos vêtements. Le lave-vaisselle était défectueux.

spacious, well appointed cabin. It was well constructed and well furnished. The location was great and the area is very quiet. For our family, it was perfect. Also the owner was very helpful.
